New Branch
We are pleased to announce the opening of our latest branch at 55 the Parade, Kings Heath, Birmingham. From this funeral home, which has its own Chapel of Rest, we aim to provide a more convenient service to families in Kings Heath and the surrounding area.
Community Activity
At William H. Painter we take great pride in being part of the community and are involved in various activities, which range from assisting in local fund raising activities such as Troop Aid, a charity which originated in Solihull and helps support our injured troops overseas and back in England, sponsorship of Old Yardleians Rugby Club and the Birmingham Scouts Annual Swimming Gala.
We can offer free development training programmes to Care Homes and NHS Trusts, which can go towards NVQ Assessment for their staff, and is an excellent way of dispelling the myths attributed to our profession.

Charity of the Year - Guide Dogs for the Blind
At the start of 2010 we commenced our year of fund raising by supporting a local branch of Guide Dogs for the Blind. Under the guidance of Sharon Calvert, our Community Lead Officer, we have and will be arranging quiz nights, evening events and a team of four staff members abseiled down Birmingham's Fort Dunlop Tower in aid of the Charity.
Guide Dogs for the Blind struck a chord with a number of staff at William H. Painter, having seen how these animals had helped and supported people who are blind following the loss of a loved one.
