Type of service
Religious
We have experience of arranging funerals for families from all different cultures and religions including Christianity, Islam, Hinduism and Sikhism.
Religious funerals are presided over by a minister or religious leader, and are an entirely appropriate way to say a final farewell to someone of faith. Readings and hymns form an integral part of the service, held in a church or place of worship.

Humanist
We can also organise humanist services which include no reference to religious concepts. Whatever your requirements, we can make all the necessary arrangements.
Humanist funerals are conducted away from places of worship, and are generally held at a crematorium or burial ground. The service is uniquely arranged in accordance with the wishes of the person who has died, allowing their life to be celebrated as they would want it. Humanist ceremonies are becoming more and more prevalent (there were 30,000 in Britain in 2006) and can be the ideal way to celebrate the life of somebody non-religious.
Those attending a Humanist funeral are often encouraged to wear bright clothing and see the service as a celebration of life - with non-religious readings and memories of the person who has died replacing psalms and bible verses.
