About Us
William H Painter Funeral Directors (Incorporating High Street Funeral Directors) in Erdington is on the High Street.
We can help to plan services for Catholics, Anglicans, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Chinese, and non-religious ceremonies and serve many different communities.
The funeral home has free on the street parking if you are arriving by car to the rear of the branch. Please report your registration number to us when you come in if you do park here. From the carpark, walk down the public alleyway between the rear of the branch and the Pizza Hut to gain access to the front. We are a 5 minute walk from Erdington Train Station. Our closest bus stop is Wilton Road Bus Stop serving Perry Common, Pype Hayes, Wylde Green, Walmley, Aston, Gravelly Hill, Stockland Green, Witton, King Standing and Oscott.
Our funeral home is not accessible for those in wheelchairs. If you require an accessible branch, please visit our Chelmsley Wood, Solihull or Yardley branches. We do not have a disabled toilet. We are happy to arrange a home visit if you prefer.
We have a private chapel of rest to enable families to spend time with their loved ones. Whilst our branch does not have it’s own service venue, our South Yardley branch has a service venue to hold a service for roughly 25 people which you can use.
Our Erdington funeral home is open from Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Funeral home opening times may vary over bank holidays, but we are always available on the telephone 24 hours a day, every day of the week.
