William H Painter Community Fund £6,000 pledged to help our local communities

As a way of giving back to our local area, the William H Painter Community Fund aims to provide funding support for community-based projects which improve the quality of life of people living within three miles of William H Painter Funeral Directors’s branches in Erdington, Solihull, Chelmsley Wood, Castle Bromwich, Sutton Coldfield and South Yardley.

Local charities will be awarded funding toward the cost of a specific, community-focused project. We aim to fund projects that run for 3 months or longer, but we may consider shorter projects if ongoing community benefits can be demonstrated.

In order to be eligible to receive funding, the project must align with one or more of the fund categories: Health, Education, Employment Opportunities, Poverty/Social Deprivation. Grants are available for amounts up to £3,000.

We will run two application cycles over the course of the year:

Cycle two 22/06/2026 02/08/2026 13/09/2026

If you work with a charity in need of funding for community projects in Tyseley, Minworth, Hill Hook, Shirley, Coleshill, Marston Green or surrounding areas, we encourage you to apply. We particularly welcome applications from small, local not-for-profit organisations embedded in their communities.
