Community Activities
In the spirit of Christmas, during November & December 2013, the smaller branches of William H. Painter had a total of 187 selection boxes donated by local communities, these were then distributed to SPoCC (The Society of parents of children with cancer) and various Children’s homes local to the branches.
Trudie Parker and Sharon Calvert delivered the boxes just before Christmas eve. The children’s homes were: Charles House, Rednal Road, Lyndon House, Lyndon Road, Braymoor Children’s Home, Braymoor Road and Warwick House, Warwick Road.
Our thanks go out to those who donated and the breakdown of boxes collected at our branches were:
Castle Bromwich 90, Kings Heath 59, Chelmsley Wood 20, Dovehouse 16 and Knowle 2. = 187 total
