Area Development Manager
With over 25 years’ experience in customer service Fiona has served some of the highest profile individuals in the UK.
Since joining William H Painter in 2016 she realised that her passion for delivering the highest level of customer service could not be better placed. Professional standards, care and compassion are at the heart of everything she does.
Fiona has 2 sons and 2 step-daughters who keep her busy outside work.
Shaz (Sharon) started working at William H Painter in November 2005 and has progressed from a branch arranger to Diary Manager encompassing both William H Painter Funeral Directors and Thomas Bragg Funeral Directors (and for a short time also included Henry Ison Funeral Directors)
In her previous jobs she has worked for the Royal Navy, a building firm, been a senior carer in a nursing home and Duty Manager at a hotel.
She enjoys driving, reading and exploring Scotland with her husband, and has done a parachute jump for the charity MIND
Funeral Director – Yardley
Vicky has worked at William H Painter since 2014. After doing work experience at 15 for a local funeral director she never wanted to do anything else. She has a degree in Sociology. Vicky likes getting involved in charity work and helping local families.
Funeral Arranger – Dovehouse Parade
After working in the education sector for a few years, Emma joined the company in 2015 following the death of her grandfather. WH Painter took care of the funeral arrangements and she was impressed by the service received. In her spare time she enjoys singing in a church choir in Solihull, playing the piano and reading.
Funeral Arranger – Kingstanding
Becky worked in the funeral profession for eight years before joining William H Painter in 2017. She has also worked for West Midlands Police as a Special Constable. She loves her job, particularly being there for people when they are at their most vulnerable. In her leisure time, she enjoys Ceroc dancing.
Funeral Arranger – Yardley
Katie joined our firm in 2016 after looking for a career change from her previous role in retail. She says the best part of her job is helping people when they are going through a difficult time and ensuring they receive an excellent service. In her spare time, she enjoys socialising.
Funeral Arranger – Castle Bromwich
Jeanette joined William H Painter in 2012 and is passionate about her job and dedicated to community work, having raised over £6,000 for charity. She was previously in the army (48 Signals Regiment), rising to Sergeant Head Chef, before moving into palliative care (end of life) in a nursing home. In her spare time, Jeanette loves travelling and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Funeral Director- Yardley
Diane has worked within the funeral service for 14 years and joined William H Painter on 23rd March 2017.
She says “I joined as a funeral arranger and progressed to a Funeral Director in the same year which I am thoroughly enjoying. I cannot imagine doing anything else as I achieve great job satisfaction when helping families in there time of need.”
Funeral Arranger – Yardley
Tracey joined William H Painter in 2016 as a Receptionist and soon progressed to Funeral Arranger. She really enjoys helping families make the whole funeral process as smooth and stress free as possible.
Mobile Funeral Arranger
Julie joined William H Painter in May 2018 after she had experienced the arrangements of two family funerals, both within one month at William H Painter. Julie felt so relieved for the help and assistance we gave her at such a stressful and sad time. She was overwhelmed with the service the family received on the day of each funeral that this inspired her to want to support other families at such a difficult time.
In her spare time, Julie is an avid VW campervan enthusiast visiting places all over the UK and travelling up and down the local canals in her ‘liveaboard’ narrow boat.
Funeral Arranger – Chelmsley Wood
Amy joined our team in January 2018 after working for another funeral directors since 2010.
In her role as a Funeral Arranger, she enjoys supporting families whilst helping them plan their loved one’s final journey.
Amy enjoys spending time with her two children. In her spare time, she likes travelling and socialising with friends.
Funeral Arranger- Sutton Coldfield
Julie joined William H Painter in August 2018 after previously working within the education and healthcare sectors.
She really enjoys helping and supporting families during such a difficult time.
In her spare time, Julie enjoys history, reading, music and spending time with her family.
Funeral Arranger – Kings Heath
Kerry is new to William H Painter and is very excited on becoming a new funeral arranger with them as she has had all of her family funerals with them previously.
Kerry has ran her own small business as a mobile sports massage therapist meeting a variety of people including massaging backstage at high profile concerts and events including touring with Lord Of The Dance as their sports massage therapist back in April 2008.
After 17 years and turning 40 Kerry retired from sports massage and came into doing what she loves best which is helping people and with a real fascination of funerals too funeral arranging became her dream job – especially as she is at the Funeral home where she said her last her goodbyes to her Nan.
In her spare time Kerry enjoys music, movies, running and spending time with her beloved cat Franky.
Funeral Service Operative
After working for the NHS for 15 years, a career change led Mark to becoming a Funeral Service Operative for William H Painter in 2017.
He enjoys meeting and helping people in their time of need.
In his spare time, Mark plays both Cricket and Football and enjoys socialising with friends and family.
Funeral Service Operative
After Working in aerospace engineering for 38 years, Alan joined the funeral profession in 2006, moving to William H Painter in 2008, spending four years as a funeral arranger then moving to be a funeral operative including conducting of funerals when necessary.
In his spare time he enjoys watching football, cricket and socialising with friends and family.
